I very well remember Home Alone movies, watched dozens of times in my family, still feel in dreams that I am stuck on road in Christmas night and my son is left Home Alone in chaotic Holiday departure when getting flight is impossible and a van full of band member giving lift. The whole scene in Home Alone played by Actress Catherine O'Hara as Kate McCallister's quest for reaching home in snowy land is still a tear jerking piece.

Official Review - Home Alone Home Alone is the highly successful and beloved family comedy about a young boy named Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) who is accidentally left behind when his family takes off for a vacation in France over the holiday season. Once he realizes they've left him "home alone," he learns to fend for himself and, eventually has to protect his house against two bumbling burglars (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) who are planning to rob every house in Kevin's suburban Chicago neighborhood. But ingenious Kevin keeps them at bay, using the same tomfoolery he applied to his uncle in the first picture. He takes time out from his consumer debauch to chat with a friendly old toy-store magnate (Eddie Bracken) and pontificate to a homeless Pigeon Lady (Brenda Fricker) on the meaning of Christmas.
